I finally was able to collect some stuff to decorate the yard. Maybe I will get a couple more things before Halloween.

What an awesome day I had on sunday. I was able to take part in something special, "Race for the Cure." Myrtle's Turtles was the name of our group as you can see with the turtle balloons.
It made me feel so good to do this, I am going to do it next year!!

WAY TO GO BATTLEGROUND TIGERS!!!!!
Well Ian played on the kick off team tonight. The tigers did a great job. They won 6-0, they fought so hard to keep the other team from scoring. Tigers scored there points with 1min. and 30 sec. to go in the fourth quarter. It was an awesome game!!!!!
Ian is #72

Well I have five chickens so I thought, until this morning. When I came home from dropping Ian off at school, I heard a rooster crowing. Sure enough it was gumby! Now we have to get rid of him, our city doesn't allow roosters in the city limits. Chickens are ok, not roosters. Poor guy!!!

So we have been back to school for about a week now. The transition for the kids has gone well, they are going to bed earlier and jumping up out of bed when it is time to drive Ian to school. Kiera and Jordan are working better with Ian away from home, he is not here to irritate them. It is alot easier to get through the lessons without his comentary. He use to egg kiera and jordan on. I love him though!
It is quiet and peaceful throughout the days. I can get alot more accomplished. Ian has another game on thurs. against Camas. So I will be driving to camas on thurs. I think this year is gonna be a good one. I can feel it!!!

Well the first football game for the freshman team did not go well. They lost, 41-0, and Ian was late getting dressed, so he did not get to play.

He ended up holding the sign that tells what down it is. So he got some exercise moving up and down the field, sometimes running. Maybe next game will be better!

Here are some pics from this summer. Ian getting his practice jersey. Kiera and Jordan at the parade of homes.

What a terrific summer we have had. I cannot believe it is over in two days. I am ready for the cold weather though. This summer we did alot of stuff. We went to the fair, the kids went to sports camp, we went to farm tours, and to the zoo. We did alot of other little functions too! We grew a garden with lots of veggies.
